2012 - 2013 Tuition - 11 Month School Year
The philosophy of The Primary Montessori Day School is to include all expenses into one school year tuition.
This practice is different from many other private schools where the cost of for example; art materials, field trips, annual enrollment fees, etc. is priced and paid separately each year ontop of tuition.
We would encourage prospective families to compare our all inclusive approach to other private school tuition plans by including all the additional fees to their stated school year tuition.

Admissions Update:
Now enrolling!
Our school holds several tours during enrollment periods, so please call to set up a time to visit. If you are unable to make your appointment, please call the school to reschedule---chances are someone is on the wait list for that day and would be eager to take your place (we limit the amount of attendees per tour - in order to prevent disruption to classrooms).
Please understand we schedule tours so you have the ability to enter the classrooms when children are there and you can get a feel for the environment. We feel empty "open-houses" do not give a parent the information they really need when trying to choose a school.
Scheduled Tours:
- Monday, Jan. 9th (9:45am)
- Tuesday, Jan. 24th (9:45am)
- Wednesday, Feb. 8th (9:45am)
- Monday, March 5th (9:45am)
- Monday, March 19th (9:30am)
Please call our office at 301-309-9532 to reserve a space. If you are unable to come on our last scheduled tour date, please call our office to setup an individual tour time..
When you come to visit, we will provide you with a tuition and fees schedule, school calendar, and an application. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Admission is on a "first come, first served basis" and a waiting list is maintained for future openings.
How many openings do you have?
This varies from year to year. In addition to openings anticipated during the admission season, currently enrolled students and accepted applicants sometimes change plans and an opening may occur.
Do you offer a summer program?
Yes. We currently offer a summer program.
Julia Child (famous chef) was a Montessori student.
Anne Frank, famous child diarist from World War II, was a Montessori student.
